The Growth Portal is available to all Safaricom employees across every craft and level. You log in using your corporate Safaricom credentials — no separate registration required. Managers and HR teams have additional views with team-level data.
Competencies are assessed through a combination of self-assessment, manager review, and peer endorsements. You rate yourself on each competency at your current level, upload real-world evidence, and your manager validates the ratings during your review cycle.
Yes — your direct manager has read access to your competency scores, growth plans, and assessment history. The portal is built around open, structured conversations between employees and managers. HR can also view anonymised, aggregated data for talent planning.
